The Amsterdam Sauer Museum of Rare Minerals and Precious Stones, located Ipanema, in Rio de Janeiro, is the most complete private gemstone museum in South America. The smaller market operates only on the weekends in front of the Lido park (cross street Rua Rodolfo Dantas).
